We had a wonderful two-night stay in a deluxe king room with a modern and comfortable design, enjoying the easy access to nearby dining options and the lovely Rothay Park which is just a short stroll away.

The personalized touches in the room made us feel at home, and the late breakfast service was a luxurious treat while exploring Ambleside.

We enjoyed complimentary wine every night while planning our hikes using the free wifi. The spa was a perfect end to our days.

Located right in the heart of a bustling area, you're just steps away from cafes and shops, making it incredibly convenient for exploring.

The lack of on-site parking might not suit everyone, but a parking pass for nearby council lots alleviates that concern. navigating past the open kitchen area feels a bit awkward. using the side entrance is an option, though. Wi-Fi connectivity in the rooms could improve, as it tends to falter, leading to a reliance on mobile data at times.

We just spent 2 nights in a cozy room that was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious, and I loved having the option for packed lunches to take on hikes. Location is fab, right near everything in Ambleside. The only thing was the shower pressure could be better, but everything else was spot on!

They had plenty of nice touches like free wine and biscuits, which made it feel special. The location was perfect – quiet and close to everything. a cozy vibe that felt just right.

we absolutely loved staying at the stiles. it's right in the centre, and just a short walk from the bus station and plenty of pubs and restaurants. our deluxe king room "merlot" was spacious, with a relaxing jacuzzi spa bath, perfect for unwinding after a long day of hiking. the heated towel rail was a lifesaver for our wet clothes!
